• RocSoc is one of Lancaster University’s largest societies. We’re basically here so people that enjoy a heavier and more alternative taste in music have somewhere to escape. We're look out for the interests of any Rockers, Metal heads, Goths, Punks and the rest of you who like that kind of thing, here at Lancaster University. We endeavor to take you to all the best clubs in the area, providing you with a place to hangout, and some awesome events, without having to put up with the abysmal music in most of the pubs/clubs in Lancaster.

• A cheap way of getting to awesome clubs around the UK on RocSoc trips

• Drinks offers at selected pubs and clubs

• Discounted entry to many local gigs

• The chance to meet a tonne of cool people, that won’t be found at the Carleton on a Wednesday.

(You may also gain a small sense of satisfaction from joining one of the more popular societies - but this isn't essential)

• At the beginning of the year, get yourself down to Freshers Fair near the end of Freshers Week and come see us at our table of rock in order to join. Failing that, come see us on Mondays at the Bobbin (in town) and ask to sign up.
